One of our clients is a brand leader in the retail sector, and is best known for its home furnishing range. Part of their success is down to innovation, employee engagement and employee development. At Embrion we have been working with this company for several years helping them to develop a coaching culture across their global business. A starting point for this work was an Empower Coaching Culture survey and Coaching Culture report. This report was used as the platform to continue to plan their next steps.
More recently we have been using our expertise to help them develop a set of coaching competences with behaviourial anchored ratings (BARS). We invited members of the global coaching pool to use the competency framework and rating scale to rate their current competence against the framework and following this to develop a personal plan for their continued coaching development.
Our work with the company continues, and like many of our clients, we are proud of our collaboration with them, and their desire to continually improve and innovate using evidenced based approaches in human resources to drive business performance.
